At Table for 10, we make the reservation and nine young professionals sit down for dinner alongside one business leader. This is a great opportunity to meet other young professionals in the area and spend quality time gaining insight and wisdom from a local business or community leader.

Time: 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Cost: Advanced registration is required. Each guest is responsible for paying for their own tab.  A fee of $10 will be invoiced to you if you do not provide 48-hour notice that you are canceling.

Charles Mallon, Jr.

Biography:

Charles A. Mallon, Jr. was selected as President/CEO of ABNB Federal Credit Union in January 2017. Prior to coming to ABNB Federal Credit Union, Charlie dedicated more than 26 years serving members of Wright Patman Congressional Federal Credit Union. Beginning his career at the credit union as a Member Service Representative; Mr. Mallon assumed the position of President and CEO in 2007. Through his leadership at Congressional FCU, Charlie spearheaded the contemporary transformation of the credit union’s service and solutions culture. As a result, the credit union increased market share through membership growth and greater product and service usage. “The CEO position at ABNB FCU represents an exciting opportunity to combine my personal and professional values with the credit union’s rich member service culture. The credit union movement was founded on the vision of coworkers and neighbors joining together to assist each other financially…”People Helping People”; ABNB FCU is dedicated to making that vision a reality throughout the Hampton Roads community.”

Mr. Mallon earned his MBA from George Mason University and is also a graduate from the University of Maryland. He is a long-time supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Credit Union Miracle Day. Mr. Mallon currently serves on the Board of Directors for Credit Union Miracle Day benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and is a sponsor of the annual Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run.

Mr. Mallon recently relocated from Northern Virginia to Virginia Beach where he currently resides with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons.
